On the reaction day the stock moved 9.5 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 9.3 pts less than its Commodity Chemicals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Q2 FY26-27 revenue was ₹2,901 crore versus ₹2,339 crore in Q1, but PBT fell to ₹241 crore from ₹416 crore as lower realisations and higher fixed costs offset volume gains; PAT was ₹185 crore. H1 revenue and PBT were ₹5,240 crore and ₹657 crore, with prior-year comparison distorted by the Bharuch turnaround. The expansion plan lists capacities through FY30-31, including 50 KTPA ammonia and 163 KTPA ammonium nitrate. Borrowings were ₹109 crore.
Higher revenue but weaker profit may weigh on sentiment. Capacity additions could support future sales, but subsidy and input-cost risks remain.
