GSFC reported Q2 FY26 operating revenue of Rs 3,140 Cr, up 20% YoY and 45% QoQ. PAT rose 6% YoY to Rs 320 Cr, and 129% QoQ. H1 revenue stood at Rs 5,312 Cr vs Rs 4,767 Cr. Fertilizer segment drove growth with 21% YoY revenue rise. Industrial Products turned profitable with EBIT of Rs 54 Cr versus a loss of Rs 17 Cr. Higher raw material costs (phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid, sulphur) pressured margins, partly offset by softer gas and ammonia. Urea realisation declined 15%.
Strong quarterly performance with record revenue and PAT, but steep raw material cost inflation may weigh on margins going forward.
