The Board approved unaudited Q2 and H1 FY27 results. Consolidated Q2 revenue fell 2.4% to Rs 1,450.73 crore, but profit after tax rose 246.6% to Rs 131.79 crore. Maize processing profit surged to Rs 168.07 crore from Rs 6.99 crore, while other agro processing revenue fell to Rs 195.85 crore from Rs 713.31 crore. H1 profit after tax reached Rs 308.92 crore versus Rs 103.48 crore. Prior segment figures were restated after expense allocation changes.
Profit growth and stronger maize processing help shareholders, but lower revenue and weaker agro processing may cap sentiment.
