The Board approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 FY25 and full year ended March 31, 2025, with the statutory auditor Sorab S. Engineer & Co. issuing an unmodified (clean) opinion. For FY25, total income was Rs 17.02 lakh, down roughly 26% from Rs 22.99 lakh in FY24, while total expenses rose to Rs 33.25 lakh from Rs 20.56 lakh. The company swung to a loss before tax of Rs 28.35 lakh versus a small profit of Rs 2.33 lakh last year, resulting in a standalone loss after tax of Rs 27.15 lakh. On a consolidated basis, the loss widened sharply to Rs 87.16 lakh, driven mainly by an approximately Rs 60 lakh share of losses from the associate company GCCL Infrastructure and Projects Limited. Q4 standalone was particularly weak, with revenue of just Rs 9.02 lakh against expenses of Rs 32.21 lakh, producing a quarterly loss of Rs 24.25 lakh.
The sharp swing to losses, weak top-line, and large loss contribution from the associate are negative signals for shareholders and may pressure the stock. Borrowings of about Rs 1,244 lakh against equity of Rs 1,252 lakh indicate a near 1:1 debt-equity profile, which adds financial risk despite the clean auditor opinion.
