Board of Gujarat Natural Resources Ltd approved standalone and consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025, on November 14, 2025. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations rose modestly to Rs. 1,200.05 lakhs (H1 FY25: Rs. 1,133.96 lakhs), but consolidated profit after tax jumped sharply to Rs. 576.78 lakhs (H1 FY25: Rs. 42.15 lakhs), with EPS at Rs. 0.45 vs Rs. 0.05. Standalone numbers show a much bigger swing — revenue from operations at Rs. 356.45 lakhs (H1 FY25: Rs. 55.21 lakhs) and PAT at Rs. 364.02 lakhs against a prior loss of Rs. 28.65 lakhs. However, operating cash flow was deeply negative at Rs. (1,687.26) lakhs standalone and Rs. (3,037.22) lakhs consolidated. The company received Rs. 2,224.25 lakhs as share application money and Rs. 4,815.10 lakhs from share capital during the period, funding the cash gap. Auditor GMCA & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report with no observations.
Headline earnings show a strong turnaround with triple-digit PAT growth, but negative operating cash flow and reliance on capital infusion (warrant conversion proceeds) raise concerns about the quality of earnings. Investors should watch whether profits convert to cash in coming quarters.
