Sumuka Agro Industries (formerly Superb Papers) has submitted its 36th Annual Report for FY 2024-25. Revenue from operations rose to ₹6,229.51 lakhs from ₹5,495.48 lakhs in the previous year, a growth of about 13%, driven by new Himalayan Salt product and expanded SKUs. The company is undergoing a proposed merger with Gujjubhai Foods, approved by BSE and with NCLT directing equity shareholder meetings on August 25, 2025. The 36th AGM is scheduled for September 30, 2025 via video conferencing. The AGM includes agenda items for ratifying material related party transactions of up to ₹200 crore each with Gujjubhai Foods and Allysum Ventures, appointment of a new Independent Director, and appointment of a new Secretarial Auditor for five years. Distribution has expanded to over 10,000 outlets with plans to reach 100,000 stores.
Shareholders should note the large related party transaction limits (₹200 crore each with two entities) that exceed the company's turnover, and the pending merger with Gujjubhai Foods which could reshape the business. Revenue growth is positive but below 20%, and the merger outcome will be a key catalyst for the stock.
