HB Estate Developers reported its Q2 FY26 (ended September 30, 2025) results, with standalone revenue from operations at Rs. 2,673.33 lakhs, down about 2.5% from Rs. 2,741.00 lakhs in Q2 FY25. For the half-year (H1 FY26), revenue stood at Rs. 5,049.67 lakhs versus Rs. 5,305.41 lakhs last year, a decline of roughly 4.8%. Profit after tax (PAT) jumped sharply to Rs. 127.02 lakhs in Q2 FY26 from Rs. 48.96 lakhs in Q2 FY25 (around 159% growth), driven mainly by sharply lower finance costs (Rs. 430.26 lakhs vs Rs. 558.46 lakhs). H1 FY26 PAT rose to Rs. 165.20 lakhs from Rs. 139.71 lakhs. Statutory auditor N.C. Aggarwal & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. The company also reported conversion of 15 lakh convertible warrants into equity shares, raising paid-up capital to Rs. 22.96 crore.
Mixed picture for shareholders — profitability improved sharply quarter-on-quarter thanks to lower interest expenses, but the top line continues to shrink, suggesting weak operational momentum in the hospitality business. The warrant conversion is mildly dilutive but brings fresh capital. Short-term stock reaction may be neutral; investors should watch whether revenue decline persists in coming quarters.
