H.M. Electro Mech Limited reported modest growth for FY25 with revenue from operations rising to Rs 12,166.69 lakhs from Rs 11,703.45 lakhs in FY24, a growth of about 4%. Profit after tax stood at Rs 835.07 lakhs versus Rs 801.01 lakhs last year, up roughly 4.25%, translating to an EPS of Rs 7.88 (down marginally from Rs 8.01 due to share dilution from the IPO). The company completed its IPO in January 2025, raising Rs 27.74 crore, and has utilised funds mainly for working capital and general corporate purposes. The board also appointed Kinkhabwala & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for five years and J K Hingu & Co. as Internal Auditor for FY26. The statutory auditors (S V JKand Associates) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial results.
The financial performance shows steady but unspectacular single-digit growth in revenue and profit. A notable concern for investors is that operating cash flow turned sharply negative at Rs (579.76) lakhs versus a positive Rs 285.55 lakhs in the prior year, signalling working capital stress despite the IPO inflow. Shareholders should track receivables and inventory build-up closely going forward.
