HP Cotton Textile Mills reported a strong turnaround for FY25. Revenue from operations rose to ₹12,813 lakhs from ₹9,356 lakhs in FY24, a growth of about 37% year-on-year. The company swung back to a profit after tax of ₹258 lakhs (standalone) / ₹257 lakhs (consolidated), compared with a loss in the previous year. Basic EPS for the year stood at ₹6.57 (FY24: ₹2.35). Q4 FY25 also showed a sharp jump, with revenue of ₹3,643 lakhs versus ₹1,907 lakhs in Q4 FY24, and PAT of ₹99 lakhs versus a loss in the year-ago quarter. The statutory auditor D. Kothary & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results, and operating cash flow remained positive at ₹740 lakhs (standalone).
A clean audit opinion, strong revenue growth, and a clear swing from loss to profit are positive signals for shareholders, though margins remain thin (under 3% PBT) and the textile-spinning business stays exposed to commodity and export demand cycles.
