HP Cotton Textile Mills reported its Q3 FY26 results on February 11, 2026. Revenue from operations came in at Rs 3,358 lakhs for the quarter, slightly lower than Rs 3,445 lakhs in the previous quarter but up about 2.8% from Rs 3,265 lakhs in Q3 FY25. For the nine months ended December 2025, revenue grew roughly 13% year-on-year to Rs 10,394 lakhs. Profit after tax jumped sharply to Rs 65 lakhs in Q3 FY26 versus Rs 29 lakhs in Q3 FY25, while 9M FY26 PAT rose about 42% to Rs 228 lakhs from Rs 160 lakhs a year earlier. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 1.68 versus Rs 0.73 in the year-ago quarter. The company also recognised an additional Rs 29.25 lakhs as expense this quarter on account of the new Labour Codes (gratuity and leave liability). The subsidiary HP Multiflex had nil revenue and a small loss during the period.
Strong year-on-year profit growth, despite modest revenue increase, suggests improved operating efficiency and margin expansion for shareholders. The Labour Codes impact is small and one-time in nature, and should not meaningfully affect long-term earnings.
