HP Cotton Textile Mills reported its Q1 FY26 results on August 8, 2025. Consolidated revenue from operations rose to Rs. 3,591 lakhs from Rs. 2,532 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 42% year-on-year. Total income stood at Rs. 3,632 lakhs versus Rs. 2,563 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Profit before tax improved sharply to Rs. 152 lakhs from Rs. 25 lakhs, and profit after tax rose to Rs. 85 lakhs from Rs. 47 lakhs, an increase of roughly 81% YoY. Basic and diluted EPS for the quarter stood at Rs. 2.17, up from Rs. 1.20 in Q1 FY25. The auditor (D. Kothary & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications.
Strong YoY improvement in both revenue and profitability is a positive signal for shareholders, reflecting a recovery in the textile spinning segment. Higher EPS may support the stock price, though the small absolute base and single-quarter data warrant continued monitoring of subsequent quarters.
