SMS Lifesciences India has submitted its unaudited Q1 FY26 results (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations fell to ₹7,904.27 lakhs from ₹8,657.06 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a decline of about 8.7% year-on-year. Standalone net profit dropped to ₹515.77 lakhs from ₹645.99 lakhs, down roughly 20% YoY, with EPS of ₹1.17. On a consolidated basis (including subsidiary Mahi Drugs Pvt Ltd), revenue from operations stood at ₹8,250.46 lakhs versus ₹9,254.82 lakhs YoY, and net profit fell to ₹438.21 lakhs from ₹697.13 lakhs. Statutory auditors Rambabu & Co. issued an unmodified limited review opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. The Board also approved the 19th AGM for September 30, 2025 and updated insider trading and other policies.
The YoY decline in both top line and bottom line, combined with margin compression (PBT margin slipped from ~11% to ~9.5% standalone), is a mild negative for the stock. However, the company remains profitable and the auditor sign-off is clean, so there is no governance red flag.
