Hariyana Ventures (formerly Hariyana Metals) reported revenue from operations of Rs 18.69 lakh in Q2 FY26, up from nil in Q2 FY25 and Rs 50.57 lakh for full-year FY25. Total income for H1 FY26 stood at Rs 18.69 lakh versus Rs 3.62 lakh in H1 FY25, with the company swinging to a profit of Rs 5.49 lakh from a loss of Rs 97.38 lakh a year ago. Q2 PAT came in at Rs 10.59 lakh against a loss of Rs 91.38 lakh, lifting EPS to Rs 1.82 from negative Rs 15.74. Total assets grew to Rs 258.58 lakh (from Rs 230.51 lakh) and other equity improved to Rs 144.92 lakh on the back of retained earnings. Net cash from operations was a modest positive Rs 1.76 lakh, and the auditor (Manish N Jain & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications.
The return to profitability after a heavy loss in the year-ago quarter is a positive signal for shareholders, though the absolute revenue base remains very thin and trading volumes are minimal. Investors should watch whether the iron and steel trading business can sustain this momentum, as the company is small-cap with limited earnings visibility.
