In the unaudited Q2 results, consolidated revenue rose 7.3% to Rs 378.34 crore and profit after tax rose 25.8% to Rs 36.44 crore. Half-year revenue rose 6.9% to Rs 743.63 crore and profit rose 14.4% to Rs 74.37 crore. Profit before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation improved to 16.91% of revenue from 15.29%, but operating cash flow was negative Rs 36.70 crore. Prior figures were restated. The review found no material issue.
Profit growth supports sentiment, but negative operating cash flow and borrowings rising to Rs 315.42 crore from Rs 198.51 crore are concerns.
