Harshil Agrotech Ltd reported audited FY25 results showing strong year-on-year growth: total income rose to about Rs. 13,024 lakhs from roughly Rs. 9,921 lakhs in FY24 (around 31% growth). Net profit for the full year jumped sharply from Rs. 80.27 lakhs to Rs. 1,039.32 lakhs, while Q4 FY25 alone posted a loss of Rs. 78.30 lakhs versus a Rs. 547.76 lakhs profit in Q4 FY24. The company's equity base expanded significantly during the year — share capital rose from Rs. 1,090 lakhs to Rs. 7,112 lakhs following an issue of about 50.48 lakh shares at Rs. 7.45 each, and reserves climbed from Rs. 51.88 lakhs to Rs. 4,407 lakhs. Despite the clean (unmodified) audit opinion, the auditor flagged an Emphasis of Matter highlighting uncertainties around trade receivables (Rs. 4,646 lakhs), loans & advances, trade payables balances, and investment valuations, and noted that inventory was not independently verified. Operating cash flow was deeply negative at Rs. (4,373.60) lakhs, driven largely by a Rs. 3,672.85 lakh increase in receivables.
Headline profit growth looks spectacular, but the auditor's emphasis on unverified asset balances and the large negative operating cash flow are red flags — reported profits are not converting into cash. Shareholders should weigh the strong top-line growth and PAT jump against the asset-quality concerns, inventory not being physically verified, and significant share dilution during the year.
