HB Portfolio's Board approved its Q1 FY26 results on August 8, 2025. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations fell to Rs. 434.34 lakhs from Rs. 703.61 lakhs a year earlier, while profit after tax dropped to Rs. 379.16 lakhs (vs Rs. 512.55 lakhs), giving an EPS of Rs. 3.52. The standalone numbers were boosted by a Rs. 338.62 lakh dividend from subsidiary Taurus Asset Management. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations came in at Rs. 769.52 lakhs versus Rs. 875.29 lakhs, with profit after tax of Rs. 212.98 lakhs vs Rs. 327 lakhs. The Commodities Trading segment contributed zero revenue this quarter, with all income coming from the Financial Services segment. Statutory auditors N.C. Aggarwal & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion on both sets of results.
Year-on-year revenue and profit declined meaningfully at both standalone and consolidated levels, though profits remain positive. The shift from NBFC to non-NBFC reporting format (effective April 2024) and the heavy reliance on dividend income from a subsidiary may draw investor attention. Overall, a mixed quarter for shareholders.
