HB Stockholdings, an RBI-registered NBFC, announced its unaudited Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) results. Total income stood at Rs. 1,010.12 lakhs, nearly flat compared to Rs. 1,003.37 lakhs in Q1 FY25, driven largely by interest income, dividend income, and net gains on fair value changes. Profit after tax rose to Rs. 746.20 lakhs from Rs. 645.06 lakhs a year ago, translating to basic EPS of Rs. 10.45 (vs Rs. 9.04). The previous full year (FY25) had closed with a loss of Rs. 1,198.70 lakhs. Statutory auditors N.C. Aggarwal & Co. issued an unmodified limited review opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. Consolidated PAT was Rs. 745.59 lakhs. The company also appointed Ms. Pooja Jain as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer (KMP) effective 8 August 2025, noted the end of Independent Director Mrs. Asha Mehra's tenure on 8 September 2025, and reconstituted its Audit, Nomination & Remuneration, Stakeholders Relationship, and Risk Management committees.
A return to profitability after a loss-making FY25 and a 15.7% rise in PAT year-on-year is a positive signal for shareholders, though revenue growth was negligible. The leadership changes and committee reconstitution are routine governance updates and are unlikely to move the stock materially on their own.
