HCL Technologies reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹30,349 crores for Q1 FY26, up about 8.2% year-on-year from ₹28,057 crores in Q1 FY25, but largely flat sequentially. Net profit declined to ₹3,844 crores from ₹4,259 crores a year ago, a drop of nearly 9.7%, and was also down from ₹4,309 crores in the previous quarter. The IT and Business Services segment remained the largest contributor at ₹22,454 crores, while Engineering and R&D Services grew strongly to ₹5,174 crores. Basic EPS stood at ₹14.18 versus ₹15.70 in Q1 FY25. The Board declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per share, with July 18, 2025 as the record date and July 28, 2025 as the payment date. Statutory auditor B S R & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) limited review report on the results.
Shareholders will receive a ₹12 per share interim dividend, continuing the company's steady payout track record. However, the year-on-year profit decline and margin compression could weigh on short-term sentiment, even as revenue growth remains healthy, especially in the Engineering and R&D segment.
