The board approved HDB Financial Services' unaudited September 2025 quarter and half-year results and declared an interim dividend of Rs 2 per share, equal to 20% of face value, for FY2025-26. The record date is October 24, 2025. Q2 profit after tax fell to Rs 581.4 crore from Rs 591 crore, and half-year profit to Rs 1,149.3 crore from Rs 1,172.7 crore. The share of higher-risk loans rose to 2.81% from 2.10%.
The dividend supports shareholder income, but slightly lower profit and a higher share of risky loans make the near-term stock impact mixed.
