Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
HDFC Life reported H1 FY26 profit after tax of Rs 994 crore, up 9%, and total premium of Rs 34,162 crore, up 15%. Value of new business rose 10% to Rs 1,818 crore, while group assets under management crossed Rs 5 trillion. Market share rose to 11.9%, but operating return on embedded value fell to 15.8% and solvency declined to 175%.
Premium, profit and market-share growth support investor sentiment, though lower return on embedded value and reduced solvency could limit gains.
