Board approved unaudited results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. Standalone quarter net premium rose 13% year on year to Rs 18,777 crore; profit after tax rose 3% to Rs 447 crore. Half-year profit rose 9% to Rs 994 crore. Quarter total income fell 29% on lower investment income. Operating cash flow doubled; solvency was 175%. Contingent liabilities rose 3.6% from March. The board approved up to Rs 750 crore of subordinated debt.
Profit, cash flow and 175% solvency support the stock, but lower investment income, rising contingent liabilities and new debt may temper sentiment.
