Sastasundar Ventures Limited informed the exchanges that shareholders of its unlisted material subsidiary, Sastasundar Healthbuddy Limited (SHBL), approved a buyback at an EGM held on 30 September 2025. The buyback covers up to 20,27,534 fully paid-up equity shares, representing 8.55% of SHBL's total paid-up equity capital. The buyback price is set at around Rs. 493.21 per share (face value Rs. 10), for an aggregate consideration of up to Rs. 100,00,00,044 (approximately Rs. 100 crore). This is a follow-up to an earlier disclosure made by Sastasundar Ventures on 19 September 2025 about the SHBL buyback proposal. The buyback is at the subsidiary level, not the listed parent company.
The buyback is being done by the unlisted subsidiary SHBL, not the listed parent Sastasundar Ventures, so the direct impact on Sastasundar Ventures shareholders is limited. However, it signals that the subsidiary's shareholders (including the parent) view the shares as undervalued, which could be mildly positive sentiment for the parent.
