HEC Infra Projects reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue of ₹2,790.73 lakh, up 54.8% from ₹1,802.25 lakh in Q1 FY25, while PAT rose 59.4% to ₹133.12 lakh (vs ₹83.53 lakh). PBT grew to ₹174.21 lakh and EPS stood at ₹1.23 vs ₹0.82 a year ago. Finance costs nearly tripled to ₹72.60 lakh and other expenses jumped sharply to ₹1,571.49 lakh, signalling higher operating costs. The board also accepted the resignation of statutory auditor M/s. Paresh Thothawala & Co. and appointed M/s. KDN & Associates LLP as the new statutory auditor, besides naming new secretarial and cost auditors. The 20th AGM is scheduled for 18th September 2025 via video conferencing.
Strong YoY revenue and profit growth is a positive for the stock, but the company's reserves remain deeply negative at -₹4,229.72 lakh, pointing to accumulated losses. The mid-year change of statutory auditor is something retail investors should watch as a governance signal.
