HEC Infra Projects reported audited standalone results for FY25 with revenue from operations of ₹11,209.91 lakhs, up about 52% from ₹7,378.95 lakhs in FY24. Profit after tax nearly doubled to ₹924.35 lakhs versus ₹471.64 lakhs, lifting EPS to ₹9.08 from ₹4.65. Operating margins also expanded meaningfully, with profit before tax rising to ₹1,170.21 lakhs from ₹661.86 lakhs. The auditor (Paresh Thothawala & Co.) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. However, trade receivables ballooned to ₹3,665.78 lakhs from ₹1,503.73 lakhs, hinting at stretched working capital, and the company raised ₹9.03 crore via a preferential issue to promoters in March 2025.
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth with margin expansion is positive for shareholders, but the sharp jump in receivables and reliance on fresh equity to fund operations is a watch-out. The clean audit opinion removes an immediate governance overhang.
