State Bank of India has sanctioned a Rs 1,230 crore credit facility to TACC, HEG's wholly owned subsidiary. The funds will partly finance a new plant in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, with planned capacity of 20,000 metric tonnes per year for lithium-ion battery-grade graphite anode.
The facility supports HEG's expansion into battery-grade graphite and may create growth opportunities, while repayment and plant execution remain risks.
