HeidelbergCement India reported its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results. Revenue from operations rose 12.3% YoY to ₹5,975 million, driven by an 11% jump in sales volumes to 1,254 KT and modest price improvement. EBITDA grew 13.4% to ₹885 million with margins expanding 15 basis points to 14.8%, while Profit After Tax rose 20.9% to ₹482 million (EPS of ₹2.13 vs ₹1.76). No exceptional items were recorded. The company's balance sheet remains strong with cash and bank balances of ₹5,704 million against interest-free borrowings of just ₹687 million. Additionally, the Board approved the re-appointment of Joydeep Mukherjee as Managing Director for three years effective April 1, 2026, and appointed DMK Associates as Secretarial Auditors for a five-year term.
A solid quarter for shareholders — double-digit growth in revenue, EBITDA, and PAT with margin expansion signals pricing power and operating leverage. Strong net cash position offers a cushion for future capacity or shareholder returns.
