Singularity Equity Fund I, a non-promoter investor, acquired 6,49,600 equity shares of Hemant Surgical Industries Ltd through preferential allotment on May 15, 2026. This was pursuant to the conversion of Convertible Warrants into equity shares. Prior to the acquisition, Singularity held 2,49,600 shares (1.91%). After conversion, its holding increased to 8,99,200 shares representing 6.90% of total diluted capital. The company's equity share capital increased from Rs.13.03 crore to Rs.14.54 crore as a result of this allotment. Singularity is not part of the promoter group.
Singularity Equity Fund I nearly quadrupled its stake from ~1.9% to ~6.9%, indicating strong institutional interest in the company. The transaction was via warrant conversion, not open market purchase, so it is non-dilutive in the traditional sense but increases the total share count.
