Hemisphere Properties India informed exchanges of updates on two ongoing litigations. First, a Delhi District Court disposed of LAC No. 19-2016 involving Union of India, Tata Communications and DMRC, concerning compensation payable by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for land at Greater Kailash, New Delhi. Second, the Madras High Court allowed HPIL's Second Appeal (935/2024) against P. Venkata Rao, setting aside a lower court's remand order. Detailed order in the Madras matter is awaited.
Madras HC win is a positive outcome for HPIL. Delhi case outcome remains unclear and may affect DMRC compensation recovery.
