Hi-Tech Pipes' Board approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 on August 8, 2025. Consolidated revenue from operations fell to Rs 79,136 lakhs from Rs 86,698 lakhs YoY, an 8.7% decline. Despite the top-line dip, consolidated profit after tax rose to Rs 2,092 lakhs from Rs 1,805 lakhs, up ~16% YoY, helped by lower finance costs and better input cost management. Standalone revenue dropped ~12.8% to Rs 63,118 lakhs, while standalone PAT grew ~16% to Rs 1,785 lakhs. EPS stood at Rs 1.04 (consolidated) and Rs 0.88 (standalone). The statutory auditor issued an unmodified limited review report on both sets of results.
Mixed signals for shareholders: top-line weakness on YoY basis may pressure the stock, but improving profitability and margin expansion suggest better cost discipline. Investors should watch whether the revenue dip is demand-driven or a base-effect issue, as earnings growth on lower revenue is not sustainable long-term.
