Hikal Limited's board approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025, with an unmodified auditor opinion. Standalone FY25 revenue grew to Rs. 18,648 million (up 4.3% from Rs. 17,871 million), while profit after tax rose to Rs. 905 million (up 30% from Rs. 695 million), pushing EPS to Rs. 7.37 from Rs. 5.64. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.80 per share, taking the total FY25 dividend to Rs. 1.40 per share (70%), up from Rs. 1.20 (60%) in the previous year. Additionally, Mr. Sameer Hiremath was redesignated from Managing Director to Vice Chairman & Managing Director, and new secretarial and cost auditors were appointed.
A higher total dividend and ~30% growth in FY25 earnings are positive for shareholders. However, the stock historically trades at levels that put dividend yield well below 3%, so the cash payout is modest relative to market price. The pending environmental case at the Supreme Court remains a key overhang to monitor.
