Hilltone Software and Gases Ltd reported a strong turnaround for Q3 FY26 (quarter ended Dec 31, 2025) with net revenue of Rs. 663.55 lakhs, up sharply from Rs. 140.29 lakhs in Q3 FY25 (over 4x year-on-year growth). Net profit for the quarter was Rs. 98.72 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.75), compared to a net loss of Rs. 61.17 lakhs in the same quarter last year. For the nine-month period (Apr-Dec 2025), revenue rose to Rs. 1,241.85 lakhs versus Rs. 544.19 lakhs in the prior year period, and the company swung to a net profit of Rs. 41.85 lakhs from a loss of Rs. 15.70 lakhs. The Gases segment remains the primary revenue driver, while the Engineering (Heat Exchanger) and Software segments contributed marginally. Statutory auditor Ashvin K. Yagnik & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications.
This is a significant positive quarter for shareholders, showing both a strong revenue rebound and a return to profitability after a loss-making year. The clean auditor opinion and absence of exceptional items lend credibility, though investors should watch whether the sharp growth is sustainable given the small base.
