Himalaya Food International Ltd reported Q3 FY26 (Oct-Dec 2025) revenue of Rs. 994.98 lakhs, down about 10% sequentially from Rs. 1,106 lakhs in Q2 FY26 but up modestly from Rs. 967.86 lakhs in Q3 FY25. Net profit came in at Rs. 78 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.09), a sharp jump from Rs. 5 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.01) in the year-ago quarter, though significantly lower than Rs. 272 lakhs in Q2 FY26. Total expenses rose to Rs. 917 lakhs from Rs. 834 lakhs in the previous quarter, driven mainly by higher operating costs. Depreciation remained heavy at Rs. 158 lakhs. The auditor (Garg Bros & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report. The board also approved an updated policy for Independent Directors.
Short-term investors may react positively to the strong year-on-year profit recovery, but the sequential drop in both revenue and profit, plus the QoQ EBITDA margin compression from around 39% to 24%, signals uneven quarterly performance and warrants caution.
