Himalaya Food International reported its unaudited Q3 FY26 results (quarter ended December 31, 2025). Total income from operations stood at Rs. 994.98 lakhs versus Rs. 967.86 lakhs in the same quarter last year, with net sales of Rs. 982.84 lakhs (vs Rs. 950.07 lakhs YoY). Profit after tax jumped to Rs. 78 lakhs from just Rs. 5 lakhs in Q3 FY25, though this is off a very low base. Sequentially, both revenue and profit declined from Q2 FY26 (revenue of Rs. 1,106 lakhs, PAT of Rs. 272 lakhs). Basic EPS for the quarter was Rs. 0.09 versus Rs. 0.01 in the year-ago quarter. Auditor Garg Bros & Associates issued a clean (unqualified) limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
The sharp YoY profit growth is encouraging but the sequential decline in both revenue (~11% QoQ) and profit (~71% QoQ) suggests momentum is slowing. Shareholders should note the small absolute profit base, so percentages can look dramatic; the stock reaction will depend on whether the market focuses on YoY recovery or QoQ weakness.
