Novelis Inc, Hindalco's wholly owned subsidiary, posted Q3FY26 net loss of $160M vs profit of $110M YoY, hit by $327M pre-tax Oswego fire losses. Net sales rose 3% to $4.2B, but shipments fell 11% to 809kt. Adjusted EBITDA dropped 5% to $348M, though per-tonne EBITDA rose 6% to $430. Oswego hot mill restart targeted late Q2 CY2026. Parent Hindalco infused $750M equity in December 2025. Net leverage at 3.7x.
Oswego fires caused net loss and weak cash flow. Parent equity infusion and insurance recovery expected to support turnaround.
