The board of Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) approved unaudited Q1 FY26 results (quarter ended June 30, 2025) on August 6, 2025, alongside several governance changes. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose 12.4% YoY to Rs. 462.10 crore, but the company reported a net loss of Rs. 62.15 crore, narrower than the Rs. 85.18 crore loss in Q1 FY25. On a consolidated basis, continuing operations revenue declined about 3.3% YoY to Rs. 1,056.23 crore, with a loss from continuing operations of Rs. 46.33 crore. A profit of Rs. 57.49 crore from discontinued operations lifted consolidated net profit to Rs. 11.16 crore, against Rs. 161.52 crore in the year-ago quarter (which also had a large discontinued ops gain). Statutory auditors Haribhakti & Co. LLP issued an unmodified review report but flagged an Emphasis of Matter on ongoing Income Tax survey proceedings and notices received under the General Anti-Avoidance Rules.
Mixed picture for shareholders: standalone revenue growth is encouraging, but continuing operations remain loss-making at both standalone and consolidated levels, and ongoing tax proceedings remain an overhang. The board also approved the 30th AGM for September 25, 2025, the retirement of director Mr. Paul Abraham, the appointment of Mr. Amit Saharia, and senior management transitions in APAC and Media.
