Hindustan Housing Company has submitted a revised version of its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) unaudited financial results after BSE pointed out that the original results were signed by a Director instead of the Chairman. The numbers themselves remain the same: revenue from operations stood at Rs. 129.01 lakhs, up about 5% from Rs. 122.63 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Total income, boosted by higher other income of Rs. 92.95 lakhs (vs Rs. 30.80 lakhs), jumped to Rs. 221.96 lakhs. Profit after tax rose sharply to Rs. 89.14 lakhs compared with Rs. 53.84 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a growth of roughly 66%. The statutory auditor M.M. Nissim & Co. LLP has issued an unmodified (clean) limited review report on the results. The company operates in a single segment, providing administrative and allied services, largely to group companies.
For shareholders, this is essentially a procedural correction (wrong signatory on the original filing) and not a change in actual numbers. The strong jump in profit and other income is a positive sign for the quarter, though the company's small size and service-only nature mean volumes can be lumpy.
