HMVL approved September quarter and half-year results plus an investment of up to Rs 16.22 crore in fintech firm AI Growth. Consolidated Q2 revenue rose 14.5% to Rs 196.87 crore, but profit after tax fell 27.3% to Rs 10.08 crore. H1 revenue rose 13.7% to Rs 379.86 crore and profit after tax rose 41.2% to Rs 20.32 crore. Q2 EBITDA margin fell to 9.3% from 12.6%; H1 operations used Rs 77.70 crore of cash. The auditor review was unmodified.
Revenue and half-year profit growth help, but weaker quarterly profit, margins and cash flow may pressure sentiment. The new investment adds risk.
