On the reaction day the stock moved 3.1 pts more than its Commodity Chemicals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
BSE imposed a fine of Rs 5.05 lakh, plus GST, for Q1 FY2026-27 non-compliance involving board composition and constitution of the Stakeholders Relationship Committee. The board said director appointments are controlled by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, while a shortage of independent directors caused the lapses beyond the company’s reasonable control.
The fine is small, but governance and listing compliance lapses may lead to further penalties and hurt investor sentiment.
