HOCL posted Q1 FY26 net loss of Rs 1,289.38 lakhs versus a profit of Rs 1,571.22 lakhs a year ago. Revenue from operations fell about 30 percent to Rs 9,599.62 lakhs. Loss before exceptional items narrowed to Rs 1,364.34 lakhs, but an exceptional charge of Rs 1,386.16 lakhs pushed the bottom line into the red. Reserves are deeply negative at minus Rs 65,296 lakhs standalone. The auditor flagged going concern risks, SEBI board composition non-compliance, and related-party loan issues with the subsidiary.
Sharp revenue drop and swing to loss are worrying. Negative reserves, board non-compliance and subsidiary merger uncertainty add risk. No audit qualifications.
