Board approved HPCL’s September 2026 results. Consolidated revenue rose 26.0% to 139,114 crore, but net profit fell 6.1% to 3,625 crore after a 12,265 crore loss in the June quarter. The half-year loss was 8,639 crore versus profit of 7,970 crore, while operating cash flow was negative 7,805 crore. Refining margin rose to $27.89 a barrel from $5.95. Reviewers did not modify their conclusion but flagged too few independent directors.
Revenue and margins improved, but the half-year loss, negative cash flow and shortage of independent directors may weigh on the stock.
