Standalone September 2026 quarter total income rose 26% to 139,887 crore, but profit fell 9% to 3,483 crore. The six-month result shifted to an 8,044 crore loss from an 8,201 crore profit; operating cash flow was negative 7,832 crore. Refining margin improved to $27.89 per barrel, but weak marketing margins persisted and the half-year operating margin fell to negative 3.78% from positive 4.94%. Auditors noted too few independent directors.
Revenue growth is positive, but lower quarterly profit, a half-year loss and cash burn may pressure the stock until marketing margins improve.
