On the reaction day the stock moved 6.9 pts less than Nifty 100 and 6.5 pts less than its Fast Moving Consumer Goods peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
HUL's Q1 FY27 consolidated sales grew 10% to Rs 17,184 cr, its highest growth in 13 quarters. EBITDA rose 8% to Rs 3,947 cr but margin dipped 40 bps to 23.0%. PAT before exceptional items grew 9% to Rs 2,731 cr; reported PAT declined 2% to Rs 2,680 cr due to a one-off tax credit in the year-ago quarter. Exceptional items were a net charge of Rs 75 cr, mostly restructuring costs.
Strong revenue momentum but margin pressure continues. Reported PAT dipped on base effect. Watch for volume growth sustainability and margin recovery.
