On the reaction day the stock moved 0.1 pts more than Nifty 100 and in line with its Fast Moving Consumer Goods peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
HUL's Q2 sales rose 15% to Rs 18,071 crore and underlying volume growth was 7%. Profit before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 8% to Rs 4,089 crore. Profit after tax excluding one-off items rose 9% to Rs 2,795 crore. Reported profit was flat at Rs 2,796 crore because the prior year included a Rs 273 crore tax gain. The Board declared a Rs 19 interim dividend; record date 12 November 2026 and payment 25 November 2026.
Strong growth and the dividend may support sentiment, but a 140-basis-point margin decline and flat reported profit may temper the response.
