On the reaction day the stock moved 0.1 pts more than Nifty 100 and in line with its Fast Moving Consumer Goods peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Hindustan Unilever reported September quarter 2026 turnover of Rs 18,071 crore, up 15%, with 7% volume growth. EBITDA rose 8% to Rs 4,089 crore, but margin fell 140 basis points to 22.6%. Profit after tax before exceptional items rose 9% to Rs 2,795 crore; reported profit was nearly flat at Rs 2,796 crore because the prior year included a Rs 273 crore one-off tax gain. First-half turnover was Rs 35,255 crore. A Rs 19 per-share interim dividend was declared.
Strong sales, volume growth and the dividend may support the stock, though the lower margin and flat reported profit may temper gains.
