Hindware Home Innovation reported consolidated revenue of Rs 2,510 crore for FY26, marginally lower than Rs 2,523 crore in FY25. However, EBITDA grew significantly to Rs 233 crore from Rs 184 crore, an increase of about 27%, driven by building products (which contributed Rs 117 crore in segment profit). The company posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 39 crore (owners) for FY26, compared to a loss of Rs 69 crore in FY25, showing improvement. Standalone results showed a steeper loss of Rs 71 crore. Exceptional items were substantial at Rs 53 crore consolidated and Rs 84 crore standalone, largely due to a Rs 39 crore impairment of the HPL joint venture investment, Rs 44 crore from discontinued product categories, and Rs 5 crore from new labour code provisions. No dividend was declared. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion but drew attention to a going concern uncertainty for subsidiary EVOK Homes, which has negative net worth and discontinued operations.
The company is loss-making at net level due to heavy exceptional impairments, though operational EBITDA improved. The going concern flag on EVOK Homes and large impairment charges signal ongoing restructuring challenges, which could weigh on investor sentiment despite top-line stability.
