Hitachi Energy India reported Q1 FY27 (quarter ended June 2026) revenue of Rs 2,493.7 crores, up 68.6% YoY. PAT rose 123.5% YoY to Rs 294.2 crores. Op EBITDA stood at Rs 399.9 crores with margin expanding to 16.0% from 11.5% YoY. Orders were Rs 5,096.5 crores (including HVDC), with order backlog at Rs 32,222 crores. Key wins include first BESS project of 165 MW in Andhra Pradesh, 2 GW HVDC export order for Europe, and orders for 100 GW solar park. Additional Rs 2,000 cr capex announced for Karjan transformer factory, taking total capex to Rs 4,000 cr.
Strong YoY growth and margin expansion signal robust execution. Large backlog and capex point to sustained momentum, though QoQ decline reflects lumpy HVDC ordering.
