HMA Agro Industries reported strong full-year results for FY2026 with consolidated revenue of Rs 70,414 million, up 35% from Rs 52,144 million in FY2025. Net profit surged 88% to Rs 1,652 million versus Rs 877 million. However, Q4 standalone performance was weaker with net profit of Rs 192 million compared to Rs 525 million in Q3. The auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. The company appointed M/s S.N. Gupta & Co. as internal auditor for FY2026-27. Key concerns include significant working capital buildup with inventories doubling to Rs 13,306 million, and negative operating cash flow of Rs 1,845 million for the year despite profitability. Debt levels increased with borrowings rising from Rs 5,060 million to Rs 8,468 million.
The company delivered robust annual growth with PAT up 88%, but the sharp deterioration in Q4 performance and negative operating cash flow raise concerns about working capital management. The doubling of inventories and rising debt levels warrant close monitoring by investors.
