Honda India Power Products announced an interim dividend of Rs. 3.50 per equity share (35% on face value of Rs. 10) for FY25-26, with a record date of February 19, 2026 and payment scheduled for March 12, 2026. For Q3 FY26 (quarter ended Dec 31, 2025), revenue from operations rose about 32% year-on-year to Rs. 27,040 lakhs, driven by strong export growth (Rs. 8,539 lakhs vs Rs. 3,274 lakhs). Profit after tax for the quarter fell to Rs. 1,667 lakhs (from Rs. 1,909 lakhs) due to a one-time Rs. 1,184 lakhs exceptional charge for the new Labour Codes (gratuity and leave encashment reclassification). For the nine-month period, revenue grew to Rs. 60,092 lakhs but PAT declined to Rs. 3,732 lakhs. The Board also approved the reappointment of Mr. Shigeki Iwama as CMD, President and CEO for one year from April 1, 2026, and cleared a Postal Ballot notice.
The dividend declaration is a positive signal for shareholders and reflects confidence in cash flows, while the strong revenue and export growth point to a demand recovery. However, the one-time Labour Code provision compressed near-term profitability, which investors should treat as non-recurring.
