HUDCO's Board approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and the financial year ended March 31, 2025. Total revenue from operations grew to Rs. 10,311.29 crore in FY25 from Rs. 7,784.29 crore in FY24, a jump of about 32%. Profit after tax rose to Rs. 2,709.14 crore from Rs. 2,116.74 crore, up roughly 28%, with EPS at Rs. 13.53 versus Rs. 10.57. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.05 per share (10.5%), taking total FY25 dividends to Rs. 4.15 per share (including two interim dividends already paid). Statutory auditors SARC & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion but flagged an emphasis of matter regarding a Rs. 626.52 crore recoverable from MoHUA on the Andrews Ganj Project account, and noted non-compliance with SEBI norms on the required number of independent directors.
Strong YoY growth in revenue and profit, along with consistent dividend payouts, is positive for shareholders. The auditor's clean opinion supports confidence, but the lingering Rs. 626.52 crore recoverable from the government and the independent director compliance gap are minor governance items to watch.
