On the reaction day the stock moved 0.7 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.4 pts less than its Residential Commercial Projects peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Hubtown posted H1 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 25,427 lakhs, up about 52 percent YoY, with net profit at Rs 6,984 lakhs versus Rs 3,295 lakhs, a jump of about 112 percent. Consolidated net profit rose to Rs 11,371 lakhs from Rs 3,521 lakhs. However, the auditor issued a qualified opinion because the company has not provided for Rs 1,905 lakhs of interest in Q2 and Rs 3,790 lakhs in H1 on certain inter-corporate deposits, which overstates profit by the same amount. The insider trading window reopens November 14, 2025.
Qualified opinion over Rs 3,790 lakhs unprovided interest is a red flag on profit quality, despite strong revenue and PAT growth.
